One Never Knows.........

Today, Sunday January 13, 2008, I lost someone special. The passing of this woman leaves a void for not only me but for many. She was during her life, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend....with each, she left an indelible mark. She touched each of us with her wit and wisdom. Many miles may have separated us, but she was but a mouse click away. I am honored to have known and called her friend....my cybermom.
With my friend's passing, I am once again reminded to not leave words unspoken, thoughts and ideas unshared, dreams unfulfilled. Live each day for we never know when it will be our last or the last day of someone we love and cherish.
Rest well Pennymom.....Love, Hugs and God Bless.

Within the darkness, there is a place of light, where memories are cherished and joys are celebrated, where love will always dwell. During this sad time we all have so many memories that bring comfort and allow us to feel the certainty and peace of love's enduring connection. So many of use loved Penny, and will miss her. Collectively praying for her family during this time, will surely make Penny smile down on us...

Not having her in the chat room will leave a void, but the memories of her will keep us all in a better place. What a Lady.

Blessed she be in the place she goes...

with the news about Penny a lot of past memories came flooding back. I had the pleasure of sewing with her when she came to Texas and also enjoying the Houston Quilt Festival with her. I looked back to see the last email she sent, Sunday morning. Then I saw the calendar panel she sent me for Christmas and our discussion about the gift. She will be missed but I'm sure she will be looking down on us. Love you Pennymom.

Her absence will be strongly felt. Her "presence" will be sorely missed.

But you are so right - Pennita's existence has changed us all, and for that I am truly grateful.

Penny has been on my mind all day since I heard the news this morning. I had the great privilege of meeting Penny when she visited in Texas. I am truly glad I had that opportunity to meet such a wonderful person. She has touched all our lives in so many ways and will be sorely missed, but always fondly remembered. I hope her family will take comfort in the memories of a wonderful grandmother, mother, mother in law and friend to many.

Thanks Laine for taking the time to write about our Dear Penny and giving others a place to share with you too.
I was one of the lucky ones to have met Penny both online and in Houston at Bonnies home and at the QF.
I know Penny would want us to remember the happy times and I just hope there is a spare bath up in heaven for her to store all her fabric if not something even better ;0)
Penny a treasured friend of us all - Now and Always.
